For two years, I was the technical bridge between Connatix's AWS SaaS platform and some of the biggest publishers in the world: Vox Media, Euronews, Disney ABC. When their video content and monetization stacks broke, I fixed them. When they needed to understand why, I explained it in plain language.
The work was a constant rhythm of troubleshooting, customer advocacy, and documentation. I lived in JIRA, Postman, and SQL — but the real skill was translation: taking complex API issues and turning them into something a publisher's team could understand and act on. I wasn't just solving tickets; I was building trust.
I also built internal documentation that reduced ticket resolution time and empowered my teammates to self-serve. I advocated for customer needs internally, influencing product improvements and support processes. The through-line was always the same: make the system work for the people using it.
Impact & outcomes
- Troubleshot complex API issues for Vox Media, Euronews, and Disney ABC — keeping their content and monetization running smoothly.
- Built and maintained internal documentation that reduced ticket resolution time and empowered the support team.
- Advocated for customer needs internally, influencing product improvements and support processes.
- Translated between engineering and publishing teams — making technical complexity accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
